MacDill Air Force Base is an active United States Air Force base located 4 miles south of Tampa, FL, and near The Westin Tampa Bay. The host unit at MacDill Air Force Base is the 6th Air Mobility Wing, which provides day-to-day mission support to more than 3,000 personnel and more than 50 Mission Partners. MacDill also bases the Aircraft Operations Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
